Meet Tony
Tony and his wife Amy have called Lula home since 2018. Having been residents of Cherokee and Gwinnett counties, the decision to relocate to Lula was based on Lula's unique sense of community and rural charm. Enjoying a successful career in Information Technology, Business Operations and Cybersecurity for more than 20 years, Tony has held numerous positions of leadership and successfully implemented enterprise level solutions with award-winning results. Whether guiding product and service teams, maintaining budgets for large projects, or managing numerous vendors, integrity has always been one of his core principles. Cornett’s experience in leadership, problem-solving, and driving efficiency, is exactly what we need to position the City of Lula to win with the challenges of fast-paced growth that surrounds us. Tony is a firm believer in giving back to the community. Over the years he has volunteered to serve with the Air Force Association's CyberPatriots and CyberGenerations programs, served as Technical Director and Sound Engineer for several churches, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Historical Society of Lula-Bellton.
